That guy must be you. ノウ ウェイ！ ザッ ガイ マズト ビー ユー。 ウソだ。 あれは君に違いない ＜解説＞ before はある時点の前の事を指します。 このthe day before yesterdayを直訳してみると、 日、昨日の前、という事で一昨日となります。 A:When did you go and see the doctor? いつ、お医者さんに見てもらったの？ B:The day before yesterday. 一昨日だよ。 同様の言い方に 2 days ago agoはそのイベントの事が話されている時点から前の事を さします。 ちなみに 先々週 the week before last(2 weeks ago) 先々月 the month before last(2 months ago) 明後日 the day after tomorrow(2 days later) 再来週 the week after next(2 weeks later) |
